Music has been an important part of my life thanks to my father.
From an early age on we listened to bands such as AC/DC, Toto and Dire Straits.
This is where my love for music started, and my love for the drums started in the attic of a close friend. (Here he was drumming to tunes of Metallica).
That’s when I realized that drums was my instrument to be.
I did some research and discovered Rick Allen of Def Leppard.
He showed me that drumming with a disability is possible if you want it more than anything.
A love for drumming was born! I started practicing to get my only good arm in to the groove and now 14 years down the road I’m living my dream with Black No.1!
There’s no victory without a fight!
At the age of 11 I started to get into Metal. Together with my best friend I started to listen to my first bands in this genre;
Slipknot and Metallica. We started the band Santeria and began chasing our dreams.
We had a blast in those days with some wonderful shows and despite of Santeria no longer being active I‘m very grateful for the experience and fond memories and the friendship with my mate!
But my immense gratitude goes out to my family in Black No.1 for giving me the opportunity to become a better drummer and giving me the trust I need.
I hope to see all of you on Tour!
